SOLO SINGING

CLUB : 7 NOTES
RULES:
Solo singing competition will comprise of 2 rounds
1.Time limit: 2-3 minutes.
2. Singers can use a backing track or can be accompanied by 1 instrumentalist.
3.Decision of judges will be final.
4.Registration can be done online.
5.Note that this will be the elimination round and the singers that get selected in this round will be eligible for the final competition .
FINALS:-
1.Time limit: 4-5 minutes.
2.Karaoke is allowed or singer can be accompanied by 2 instrumentalist.
3.Decision of judges will be final.
Group Singing
DATE : 12th November 2024

RULES:
1. Time limit: 3-5 minutes performance time
2. Max Team size: 4
3.Singers can use a backing track or can be accompanied by instrumentalist (maximum 2).
4. Registration can be done online.
5. Decision of judges will be final.
FUSION BAND
DATE : 12th November 2024
TIME : 2:30 onwards
VENUE : Main Stage
CLUB : 7 NOTES
RULES:
1. Team limit is 8 members.
2. Time limit is 10 mins for performance and at most 10 mins for sound check
3. Original compositions will be appreciated and fusion of different genres is expected.
4. No backing track / vocal filtering allowed.
5. Judging criteria – Innovation of different genres, amalgations of different rhythms and beat patterns.

NUKKAD NATAK

RULES:
There will be only one final round.
1. The Act can be performed either in Hindi/English or bilingual.
2. Number of participants per team: 5-20 members:(all team members
should be certified students of their respective institute. Please bring your
identity cards for verification).
3. No cross-college teams are allowed. But multiple teams of the same
college are allowed but they should not perform the same play.
4. Any entry found using obscene language, pornographic materials,
vulgarity, or defamatory statements about but, not limited to, any person,
company, organisation, or entity will be disqualified
5. Performance should not exceed 30 minutes in length (Empty circle to
Empty circle).
6. Teams are allowed to use musical props such as Dholak, Flute, or any
other musical instrument of their choice, but usage of mics, lights, or other
electronic instruments is not allowed.
7. No instruments will be provided by CCET, so teams are required to bring
their own instruments.
8. No technical support will be provided.
9. Use of any hazardous element/prop is strictly prohibited..
10. The decision of the judging panel will be final and binding.
SOLO INSTRUMENTAL

1. Time limit: 4-5minutes (Performance) + 5 minutes (for setup and sound check). 2. No instruments will be provided. 3. Registration can be done online or on the spot 4. Any kind of vulgarity will lead to disqualification. 5. Decision of judges will be final.

1. One team should comprise of maximum 2 team members.
2. One entry per team is allowed. 3. Team members must stay together during the entire competition. 4. No external help or vehicles are allowed. 5. The answers to the clues must be captured with clarity. 6. The captured answers cannot be shared and should be in one device either camera or phone for easier judgment. 7. Better the quality, faster the team will reach to the next level. 8. Time limit per each team would be considered on the basis of maximum number of clues solved. 9. Disqualification will result from any of the following.

RULES:
1. Participation is on a team basis (team size 3). 2. One participant will be the illustrator, and the others will guess. 3. The topic or word to be illustrated will be revealed to the illustrator on the spot. 4. The illustrator cannot use any numbers, letters, or symbols while drawing. 5. The time limit for each word will be 1 minute. If the team fails to guess within the time limit,no points will be awarded. 6. Multiple guesses can be made, but the illustrator cannot speak or give hints apart from drawing. 7. There will be a total of 6 rounds, and each correct guess will be awarded 10 points. 8. Use of inappropriate or offensive drawings or language will lead to disqualification.
STORY WRITING
DATE : 13th November 2024
TIME : 11:30 am – 12:30 pm
VENUE : LH I BLOCK A
CLUB : AOS
RULES:
1. Participation is on an individual basis.
2.Topic for story writing will be given on the spot.
3. Stationary will be provided to all the participants.
4. Time limit for all participants is 1 hour.
5. All participants are advised to write unique stories, on failure of doing so their entry will be disqualified.
6. The entries shall strictly be in English. 7. The word limit is 500 words. 8. No obscene language will be entertained. 9. One participant is allowed per team, and only one entry per participant will be judged. 10. There will be a “Surprise Twist” announced at the half-time of the competition.
